We could struggle to define lockdown going by the wording of the wager .If you would like to void the bet thats Ok with me .

I'll take 2's on fer a Deuce to win a Ton that says Irish pubs open on the 26th July and stay open, (bet ends Jan 1st 2022) if it is a day or Two later then you still win.
I will take that Ken ....
Grand, we are ON, a Deuce to win a Ton that I say all Irish pubs will be allowed to reopen on 26th July and will not close before the year end. To clarify, if further restrictions like the outdoor only rules are again enforced then you are the winner John M.

It is a bit 'Grey' John M, but I dislike pulling out of a bet especially when it seems Not to be going in my favour.
So in an attempt to clarify the bet, if total pub closure or even outdoor only pub rules are reinstated before 1st Jan (with 2 days grace) till 3rd Jan, then you are the winner.

I think that you are in the 'Cat-Bird' seat at the moment and in your position then I would not be looking fer a void bet, but if you wish to Void then I will comply till 11.59pm Mon 8/11/2021.

My thoughts being that the Gov with the current pox figures would like to close the pubs again.
But they just cannot afford to put the leisure industry workers back on PUP.
Nor can they enforce an 'Outside only' pub policy in the middle of the winter.

Ill take the VOID .I was talking to a Nurse who said there is a huge problem with Carets .If a carer gets the virus or is a close contact they must self isolate and they can claim covid coin .The problem then is the Patient they were looking after are being hospitalised in many cases not counted as Covid patients .She says this is why they want to introduce antigen tests for close contacts .Dr Hooligan is not in favour of these tests as they return a lot of false positives .At present if somebody in the household is positive the whole family should isolate .But with the tests they can get the all clear .Hospitality are going in to see the Ghost of Jack Lynch this week about not looking at certs .I was out last Tuesday and in the main venue I was the only one asked if I had a cert .Looks like Government gave us enough rope to hang ourselves .If or when lockdown comes it could be for a combination of issues .

Grand, Void it is.

Personally I think you took the wrong option.
The case numbers are getting too high to be ignored.

Anyway Void it is.

WASTING MONEY /wait till they add up the cost of The Gretta Dream .Retrofitting Gaffs,Electric Cars .Green walk ways and cyclepaths .Poor Eamo hasent got the courage of his convictions to go to Glasgow he is self isolating .Hasent got the balls to cut the number of Sheep,Pigs or Cattle on farms.Listening to Eamo and Leo and Jack Lynches Ghost talking about EVs that are not available for sale before 2030 and Gaffs Retrofitted when you cant find a Plasterer for under 300 a day if you can find one .Listening to all the bolloxology .What about retrofitting Hotels and Officeblocks and Schools .Health and safety and Unions wont allow people carry on business if the place is covered in Scaffold .When it comes to wasting money Covid Coid will only be chump change .GET A GUN .Plus History has a way of repeating itself Little French bloke looking to pick a fight with Britain how much of your hard earned coin will that cost .Think in the end we will just live with Covid it dosent look like its really a killer only 5 million deaths in two years out of a world population of 7 billion .Its the cost of saving the planet that will kill more people .How much more money will it cost to roll out the booster .

It was like the declaration's were reopened  Ken. I  use to hate that when I bet Anti Post horse that wasent in the original field joining in it changed the bet .Hopefully we wont shut down but reading between the lines Hooligan would shut the lot but we cant afford it .Lynches Ghost would love to shoot the Dodger Donnolly Leo is playing both sides against the Middle ,Mary Lou told her Army Council Meeting she would inject the Nurses again again .The real unknown is Protests Farmers due up to Dublin in two weeks then the Hauliers due to bring the country to a stand still on the 24th .Government renewed emergency powers last Tuesday they could lock us down or introduce limited restrictions to prevent further protests. The country is leaderless nobody knows what the fuck is occuring .

Tax the PUP at source next time, rather than have to pay most of it back as income earned ?
