On the day when the Gov reduces the PUP they are asking people to work from home. You couldn’t make it up.

Why would that matter if your working your not getting PUP .

My point is that they are telling people to work from home yet on the other hand forcing those who are at home presently on PUP to go out to work, when the cases are rising by the minute

Some can work and claim PUP e.g. taximen.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

It's always weekend heavy this time of year. Roll on January!

Lot's of competing interests for limited resources. The delivery men are definitely the ones getting the shit end of the stick at present.

Ken i told you the manwho hires casual labour was not looking for staff for new years.i voided the bet to prevent you Nd me falling out over lockdown definition.
There was never going to be a falling out over the definition of the bet, had there been any ambiguity then we would have settled as gentlemen or voided.
Either way I think now (after today's news) that you took the right choice to void, I can't see them closing the pubs before the new year, I had a different idea yesterday.

Today is my first day with no pup payment and they  announce
the  closeure of the night clubs on the same day.
That's yet another 'Curve ball' that they have thrown at us, at least this time around I have some experience of how to deal with it, fer night time drivers you simply start 2 hours earlier when folk are going in to town and finish 2 hours earlier when we have them all tucked up in bed, by 2am the streets will be bare.
