I would imagine that everthing will have to be booked by app and destinations would need to be input during that booking process and a robo with sufficient charge would be dispatched which could in some circumstances mean longer waiting times for some customers,i'd say a lot of us will be pushing up daisies...or whatever your choice of disposal is....long before JohnnyCab arrives!!

I agree with all the above, the FN app has been 'Iffy' all last weekend down here.

Haven't had any problems with the FN app working days.....although the Bolt app provides me as much if not more work,Uber not supplying much unless you're prepared to drive 20mins to a job at 8 in the morning....not telling you where the pick up is....just that it's 20mins away!!

Are you using 2 phones for FN and bolt?  If not, how do you accept a job quickly before someone else takes it?  I've just FN and I have to react within a second or I lose the job to someone else.

If you're silver or gold-ranked from the previous week you get a couple of seconds advantage over lower-ranked drivers.

Nothing to do with bribery Watty, just on completed jobs.

All the Apps and cab companies are busy at the exact same time.

No,just one phone watty.....i have Bolt and Uber running in the background and have them set to pop up if there's an offer, they offer the job to just one driver for 15secs so it gives you time to accept/reject....i run FN in the foreground as it's fastest finger first although working days i don't find the jobs getting swiped before i can accept them...maybe only once or twice.

I work days as well and, for me, FN jobs are gone in a split second.  Might give that Bolt a go...  Thanks.

Lads use the referral codes when signing up.Uber are giving €300 for each referral amongst drivers.Bolt is €50.Subject to completing jobs.

Just remember to send your referral on Uber directly from the Uber app.I referred Hal and they said it wasn't valid for some reason.Pain in the hole.Sorry Hal.

It's great to see we finally have some decent competition for Freenow.

Both Bolt and Uber are giving discounts and vouchers to passengers.Last night I got an Uber taxi from the pub for free as it was under €11.Uber paid the driver so nobody lost money.

I think if I really wanted I could turn off Freenow and rely on Uber/Bolt.Id be doing longer run-ins but it would be worth it to break the Freeenow domination.

Don't forget Bolt is 10% commission for now.

Also just to add Bolt and Uber are accepting vehicles older than 10 years.Just upload your details and they'll amend them on the system.
