Are you paying any attention to what is happening .We are inviting 45000 Ukranians in .We dont have anywhere for them to live ,we are closing down youth and community centers and hotels to give them somewhere to live .We even imported 600 animals all these people have to be housed ,Fed ,Educated ,Hospital and School places and in time their Husbands and fathers will want to join them . What jobs do you think they are going to get .WORLD WAR 3 has started instead of firing bullets they are firing People .Dont know if you noticed but America are not taking many Refugees neither are Britain .In Fact look at Britain and their response to foreign Nationals coming to Britain .It has become a racist self centered kip that now deports refugees to Ruwanda Free speech and the rule of Law in GB is almost dead A prime Minister that is a DeFacto dictator a journalist Julian Assange being deported for telling the truth .Not one TD or Senator has questioned how many people are we going to allow in and how do we afford it .When other Eastern Europeans came here we could house them give them work without inflicting social chaos on ourselves .How do you think people will react when they are told the community or sports center is to be closed to house refugees or the local hotel that employs locals is now a refugee center and is being run by the residents .Its just another example of pandering to certain groups without any regard for the impact it will have on others .How do you think the Ukranians will react if in a years time they are still sleeping on the Youth Club Floor .There is no joined up thinking going on here and nobody wants to mention the War other than the one in Ukraine but Russia are firing Bullet People at every country in Europe and the impact will be huge on society and resources.

No point in worrying about it. we have to leave it to the government to sort out. we drive taxis they run the country, leave them to it.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't!

If refugees don't work we complain about them getting welfare and living on taxpayers' taxes. If they choose to work we complain that they're taking our jobs and, in the case of Eastern Europeans, selling their women anall.

I doubt it's any coincidence that the media is heavily focussed on the shortage of taxis as we open our borders to another few hundred thousand refugees.

LEAVE IT TO THE GOVERNMENT ....Justice Minister Helen McEntee is rethinking her own offer of accommodation to a Ukrainian refugee.

It comes as the Red Cross reports that more than half of the accommodation pledges made for Ukrainian refugees in Ireland have fallen through.

If yu take refugees in ...an then it goes sour ....like the toilet seat is left up or down depending on yur preferences an they take over the telly an yu fall out  .....how do you ask them to leave? ...I mean
You'd be a rite cnut in yur neighbourhood...makin the poor refugees homeless again ...but I'm sure it's going to happen to many after the honeymoon rescuin instinct phase is over an reality sets in ....it'll all end in tears as ratti says

When you agreed to accept refugees:

“A nice, beautiful, intelligent Ukrainian woman, please!”
Andy de Schipper from Zelzate (East Flanders) – originally from the Netherlands - set up a Facebook page to help people from Ukraine.  There have been many genuine offers of support, but Andy has been shocked by some of the requests.  He’s received an awful lot of private messages from single me offering to provide accommodation to “beautiful, intelligent and neat Ukrainian women”.

The minute Russia invaded Ukraine Andy launched efforts to help.  He drove to the Polish-Ukrainian border to help refugees and set up the Facebook page Steun Oekraïne (Support Ukraine).  The page now has 3,000 members and many genuine offers to accommodate Ukrainian refugees.

Unfortunately, there are also people with bad intentions.  “I’ve received quite a few private messages from single men eager to house a Ukrainian woman.  I’m not up for that!”

Some of the messages made Andy shudder.  He knows an asylum centre in the Netherlands where women are enticed outside.  “Men knock on the window and gesture for the women to come out.  I’ve heard talk of people-trafficking.  This won’t happen here” Andy says.

He has also taken to social media to make his abhorrence clear with regard to anybody with exterior motives offering accommodation.

Luckily, Steun Oekraïne has already found 200 people willing to provide proper accommodation, no strings attached.

“We work with voluntary social media managers, call centres, doctors and lawyers.  We use our gut feeling when we screen people by phone.  If our operation gets bigger, that will be more difficult. We won’t be sending any single women to single men!”
