Maybe I'm gettin mixed up wit the numbers but one them was the taxi licence test ....
I'm gettin bit confused lately ...tink its apathy , dementia or sumtin ...I used to be ocd bout these tings but lately I'm losing interest ... ::sleep

Me too..same number.

They do ask a lot of unnecessary questions which doesn't help the wait times on the phone.

I had the same problem a few years back after my car was repaired after a long absence, had to travel to Limerick next day or wait a week fer a Cork appointment.

Overall I have found the booking line to be very helpful if you are stuck but willing to travel.

Rest easy about the NCT.

Almost 3,600 issued with penalty points for driving without valid NCT cert in 2022

Almost 3,600 people received penalty points for driving a car without a valid NCT cert in 2022.

BUT

The figure represents a slight drop from 2021, when 3,730 people were issued with penalty points.

AND TO PUT IT INTO PERSPECTIVE

Over 18,700 people got penalty points for holding a mobile phone while driving last year.

Too many knocks in life , apathy , lethargy an boredom ....this time of yer always passes me off  ....I wrote to the mod in England an offered me services to fix tanks in Ukraime bout a month ago ... but they havny wrote back yet ...
