Card payment acceptance with the Square Reader is currently available in the US, Canada, UK, France, Spain, Australia, and Japan. We are currently unable to support card payment processing in your country yet, due to the lack of corporate presence of many industry-wide banks in these territories. Since we depend on partnerships with these banks to extend underwriting to our customers, we’re unable to offer payment processing in your country at this time.

We’re working to bring payment processing to more markets and will keep you posted. In the meantime, feel free to download Square Point of Sale from the Apple App Store or Google Play to record payments and create receipts for your customers. If you currently accept credit cards with a card terminal or plan to in the future, you can easily record your card payments in Square Point of Sale for a complete view of all your sales in Square Dashboard.

Square might be like when you ring the NTA, some people on the phones at the NTA are great and really know their stuff, others havent a clue about anything.

Agh crap 
Maybe   try uninstall?  Start from scratch?
My problem was the amount wasn't showing and wen I cleared cache....it worked instantly and has been OK since ....wat exactly is happening?
Is the sumup unit  reacting atall ?
Or does it do nothing ?
