Watty take yer time.You'll be busier on the app but your tips will definitely disappear.There is a honeymoon period on the app initially but after a while youll stop hunting for work where you used to.Before long you'll forget how you ever worked the cab without it on.
Some truth in that without doubt. I'm not sure that you'll forget how to work without it or realise that the vast majority of punters have forgotten that taxis can be flagged down without the aid of technology. I mostly work between 7p.m. and midnight, maybe a bit later if I'm working Fri or Sat and I generally only pick up on the north side of Dublin - north of Collins Ave and East of the N2. Without mytaxi that methodology wouldn't be viable so I'd have to go back to working the city or subscribing to C2k. Since mytaxi went full fare it accounts for the vast majority of my work.
