Walking is boring ,just got the bike out of the shed need to change the bearings in the bottom bracket to take a wobble out of the crank .Trying to drop four and a half stone .Hit the scales at 21 stone 4 .This job not great for your health walkout the door to the car then when your shift is finished walk back in .Most exercise you get is going up stairs for a piss .

We could make a competition out of it. Most weight lost by set date wins, loser pays for all you can eat buffet somewhere. When are you thinking of starting, I'm thinking "next week".

Havent had a drink since we got back from Cork already down a stone .Looking to break 17 stone before I go on hols in June .Spent the day in the shed looking for crank spanner and pedal extractor couldnt find them so heavy hammer and chisel will have to do new bearings about six euro .Then Ill throw the bike on the Turbo charger before I hit the road .Might try to hit Johnny foxes before the summer but long drag for a fat man climbing that hill .

I have them tools if you're stuck. Not much point to me starting my get fit quick scheme before the UK open. The skinny lad came up with our fancy dress code, he's gonna wear all the pillows that come with the suite under one of my shirts and attach a sign that has an arrow pointing to me and says I'm dressed as him... watch out for it live and exclusive on ITV4!
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

You'd need to be working 50+ hours/week to consider it.

And the rest

Sorry, 170+ hours/week in Cork.

It’s for real Taxi men that work more 25 hours a week.
None of this part-time crack.

Do it all 'Easy like' John M, big weight loss at our age is not healthy.
A few KM's walking by day and a half-decent diet will see off the pounds.
And steer well clear of any doctor prescribed Pharmaceuticals, dem Doctors
are only guessing at ailments and prescribing drugs (which his sister sells)
in the pharmacy next door.

What defines a "Real Taxi-man" Deboy ?
Is it a driver who works more than 25 hours per week ?
Or is it a driver who doesen't know his way from the city to the Airport ?

I think they have a speaker system but the window isn't sealed like yer gaff.Has to be a money hatch somewhere. Also because its hybrid/electric it would be fairly quiet.

I think the newer black cabs have some sort of acoustic pick up device in the screen. The old (90s) model I drove was pretty anti-social, near impossible to hear someone sat on the driver side of the back seat, easier to hear those sat on the passenger side but passengers who wanted to chat tended to use the fold down seat under the "window" (which could be opened/closed) in the screen.

No. Grand luggage space. The only good point they had was an empty space beside the driver. Fukkin nightmare of a car/taxi.

Of a busy night you'd fit one or two passengers on the luggage platform and 8 in the back... we were't so anglicised back then.

That sounds like a Confession box !
