I haven't got any Flag offers yet but I've only had it on for two shifts, Tuesday night and last night and mytaxi didn't leave me alone for long on either.

I reckon it's like a Betfair exchange job all over again, the First One in got all the honey
and the likes of Betdaq, Matchbook, Etc. have only the scraps left to pick up.

Betfair will never fail, neither will MyTaxi, there market share is too strong.

Except Betfair provides a far more complex platform at less than half the price charged by mytaxi.

MyTaxi has the Taxi market sewn up, the same way as Betfair has the Gambling market sewn up.
The only One that can Fook it up fer them, is themselves.

Flag ought to make inroads. Many drivers dislike a lot of mytaxi policies such as priority job allocation, hospitality fees, etc. Even gruntled mytaxi drivers would obviously prefer to pay less commission.

and who allowed that to be the case Belker ? it was the drivers . again another case of drivers giving up their right to work independantly of radios, or apps. they would rather give over the right to people who do not need to have a foothold into our industry

Think you are wrong and also not right and misguided Rodent .FLAG learned nothing from Whistle .A nerd in his Mas box room can write an app but selling it is a different kettle of makrel altogeather .Ill point out where both Whistle and FLAG went wrong and why they both will fail to make inroads .Timing both launched at times when there was big demand .Whistle just before X mas and Flag in the Runup to Patricks Day .Both times when demand is high .Their thinking being this was a good time to launch to try profit from that demand in theory but in practice drivers did not need to do app work as there was plenty of commission free work available but the big problem for both app providers was they did not have enough cars to cover minimum demand .They labour under the missaprehention that just because somebody downloaded the app that they will use that app .Running two or three live taxi apps eats up your battery and can overheat your phone so drivers simply turn off any app that does not provide regular work .The best marketing ploy for FLAG would of been to wait to launch until all the colleges returned  and go big in the colleges but have the drivers on side aware of the big switch on and they might of given the app a real go .Whistle is dead and buried due to its Scytsofrenic launch it was and it wasent a driver owned app it did and it did not charge 50c or a euro .Most drivers who download any new app will run it for a day or two and make their decision about running it after that .Run Metaxi for two shifts get around 20 jobs run UBER probably gey 4 jobs run Whistle get no offers run Flag get no offers turn two apps off .probably even forget to turn on more than one app .What they need is impact marketing but they must have the drivers available to carry the passengers and the passengers available for the driver only Metaxi can meet that requirement .

As I posted here in another tread and in reply to another app developer .A dog with a hammer in his arse could build an app but it takes brains and intellect to sell the concept .Dollymount has the right idea why would you want to give somebody else a foothold in your business .I dont think FLAG be become a relevent player in the E hail business .Metaxi will respond to FLAG if they become relevent just like the Spider and the Fly .Metaxi have a plan and their  plan is to own your business .Drivers gave them access to their work and that work is now  defacto Metaxi work and in time most of that work will be distributed to Hacls ,Limos and Ambassador drivers .Casual traders who refuse to cover job offers will be shunned .

As all the apps use the same resources, running them simultaneously shouldn't cause significant battery drain. The biggest drain on your battery is actually the screen so if you wish to conserve battery power switch the screen off when you don't need to see it or minimise the brightness control at night. Apps do, however, constantly communicate with servers using mobile internet. Even with 4G they will slow each other down to some extent which can impact on job offers received.
