It looked better on TV alright but it captured the mood perfectly, the singing accompanied by the kids signing with such enthusiasm was quite touching.
And did you?...touch them.

Glen Campbell played on numerous hits before he found independent success. He was part of the legendary Wrecking Crew, a group of musicians most never heard of. There`s a great documentary online about them.

Unfortunately dementia eventually took away his ability to play

Jimmy Webb, a wonderful songwriter, wrote many songs specifically for Glen cried when he heard Glen's version of this. It will be played at my own funeral.
