Personally I would't even bother with the gym starting off. All ya need to do is to start walking a bit and increase it every day. You'd be surprised how much weight you'd drop by just walking. What happens to most people when they join a gym is they start lifting weights on the first day and end up wrecking themselves. Most don't last tbh.
I would agree with Gerry on all that.

Bet some other fat kount (not me) on who could lose the most weight by Christmas,
that will motivate you !

Starting from scratch just do a mile a day and take it from there. Make an excuse to move instead of driving everywhere. Yill get used to it eventually.

Exactly and within 6 weeks his Keto will have kicked in. Losing more than 2 or 3 lbs is a week is self-defeating. 40 days and 40 nights before the liver starts breaking down the fats properly.

Go see your doctor John, maybe it is depression, it affects us all at some stage in our lives.

Start doing set hours for work, start at 8, finish at 2, for a few days a week and increase it. It will give You something to get up for and be motivated for.

Eat whole foods, chicken, ham, steak, mince, try not use the processed foods. Plenty of veg with the dinner, not chips(and dont say they are potatoes) try sweet potatoes,

If you have a Samsung smart Phone, use the S Health App, or any other fitness app, track what you eat, drink, exercise, sleep, heart rate etc etc etc

When working, download CWMoney(free version)
I use it and track everything on it,
It tells you your Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly total earnings. You can set up different accounts for Cash work, MyTaxi work etc etc.

Oh and the best of luck with it all.

Oh and cut out one of the take away a week, that'll save you 20-30 quid, save it and get yourself a personal trainer. They deal with all kinds of people, big heavy folk and the slim fit bastard but they will help motivate you and achieve your goals

Start with 6 hours and increase it? If he wanted to do those sort of hours he could get a real job.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

I'd say most of us lack focus. If we weren't dysfunctional cunts we'd have proper jobs.

Still dont know what I want to be when I grow up .

I have finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up !

A street vagrant/alcoholic, the only thing stopping me at the moment is the
7 days drinking bit, I'm bollixed if'n I even drink Two days in a row, let alone 7 !
Maybe if I practise more then I might get the hang of it, the money is only OK,
but the Zero hours working week is great.
The pay is 212Euro per week with the alcoholic disability allowance, but ya can
easily Treble or Quadruple that if'n ya sit on a street corner at peak pub closing
hours with a cup in your hand, ya can even multiply it by Five or Six if'n ya can
manage ta find a small dog to sit on your lap while begging, and fer 45 Notes
a week Simon or SVDP with give you 3 Hots and a Cot.
And Free medical care fer life.

As in increase th3 amount of days ya do. It’ll get him outta the house and possibly interacting with other folks. Shit he could do the day shifts but it gets him outta the house and maybe not as depressed(if he is depressed)

The Simon or SVDP address will do.
The only requirement to stay in those hostels is to be in before 10pm,
that's hardly a big ask !
