If I remember correctly, Belker, when he was on Roy's.... had a Blue-Belt (Japanese-Shotokan) and was thankful he learned how to punch in straight lines until he met a boxer who pole-axed him with a right hook or something like that?...Octy and Belker remind me so much of each other....

Righty oh.....hockey or rugby?....Christian Bros were fond of hockey in certain south-side schools.......the GAA crap was a sideshow for them....Northsiders like meself were there to be admired from the sidelines...rippling buttocks and meandering thighs...

GAA was their poison, didn't really like it, used to have an Irish Lay Teacher for sports and he was always hung over, anyways he used to let us play soccer cause he didn't give a fcuk.

That's why i love watching the Dubs winning............not because I love the GAA at all..........it kills the inbred cunts who had to go to Dublin because their Daddy left the 3 acres to the eldest son....the second son had to join up........ 8)

As for a fine specimen....used to be Stoney (Mr)......sure, I'd say you were too back in the 70's and 80's?.....I'm told nowadays I look like a cross between Michael Barrymore and Sigourney Weaver on PCP...

Yeah 70's and 80's were very good to me , hadn't met the wife at that stage. I'm more like a Senator Norris these days i.e. in looks, not swinging the othr way

I did Kenpo Karate in the Daigokan hall in Killester.
Late 70's, up to Brown belt.
3 times during the week, and Sunday morning.
Alas, I discovered  a Lass and never went back.
Brendan was the Instructor.
Derek Doody, best black belt I ever fought.
Dave Roberts equally so.
At the time there was Kenpo, Taekwondo, Shotokan, and Wado Ryu.
Now there's all sorts.

Lewis Collins from the Professionals..........Kenpo master....Taekwando came later with the Olympic push....very tough on the hips...
