Nah, he's all set to appear. No harm letting certain men still in politics know that's he's not afraid of rattling cages.

I don't understand the controversy.
Delaney is loaded and he gave somebody a loan that was repaid.
what am I missing.

Delaney is Gone ....just resigned moving to another position in the organisation .Smells and looks like another ticket fiddle ,he probably had to make up the shortfall with a loan .I suppose now he dosent need to go before the Dail as he is no longer CEO.

Delaney I now the Executive Vice President

I saw this doing the rounds

Don’t see John Delaney making it to April as FAI C.E.O. It appears the money he ‘lent’ to the FAI was in order to hide money from his wife and kids during divorce proceedings. If that’s the case, it’s fraud, a breach of corporate governance which means he’s struck off from being a company Director and will face a civil suit from his wife. Can’t see sponsors being too happy to support an organisation that facilitated any of the above and particularly at the expense of his family, Oireachtas committee have a whistleblower, presumably the ex Chief Financial Officer Of FAI and the source for the Sunday Times is his wife.

How much was repaid on the 'Bridging loan' ?

Also why if he is on 7K a week is he living in a rented house paid by the FAI fer 750 a week ?

Delaney is as Durty as Lowery and O Brien, it will all come out 'In the Wash' when we are all Dead !

Hiding a oner from the Mrs by way of a cheque or draft is a bit self-defeating.........is he not an Accountant?; then he'd know that cash is king...there's a smell of shite off this one............the FAI can't dump him as they're up to their necks in whatever he is up to..........

When the Rio ticket scandal broke, Delaney was on the First flight home abandoning Hickey.

He's sound according to the COYBIG thunderheads............bought them all gargle and belted out a few Rebel songs in foreign boozers.....all tax deductible with a corporate expenses platinum card, I presume.

I'm not sure if a man who is recently separated can have his previous income assessed as a basis for a divorce payout...this pay-cut might be a cunning strategy to avoid paying out on previous earnings? Wonder what the cut-off for financial liability regarding earnings is?
