Bronze medal winner Aidan Walsh has emerged as an injury doubt ahead of his Olympic semi-final on Sunday against number one seed Pat McCormack from England.

It is believed the Belfast welterweight may have damaged his ankle when he landed in the ring after his victory leap earlier today.

However, the Irish camp are optimistic that the 23-year-old will be fit to fight in what will be a repeat of the 2018 Commonwealth Final which McCormack won

Walsh walked normally through the mixed zone after the fight but later he left the boxing stadium in a wheelchair being pushed by his sister Michaela.

According to a statement from the Olympic Federation of Ireland, Walsh has a slight sprain but is looking forward to fighting on Sunday.

Ever since the Belfast fighter has seen leaving the boxing stadium in a wheelchair after securing a bronze medal on Friday there were doubts about whether he would be fit for what would have been the biggest fight of his career.

Initially, the Irish team played down the issue saying that he had suffered a slight sprain of his ankle. But they declined to give an update on his condition yesterday which fuelled rumours that he would be forced to concede the fight.

Its not gambling its exactly the same as you do .Buy the market when the price is right .A lot of events are non events .I probably wont have another bet on the Olympics all thats left is track and field a lot of them athletes have not competed in over a year . The investors bet is or was Glasgow Rangers to win the Scottish Premier League @4/7  as opposed to Man City who have three teams to beat to win the English league '4/6 Rangers can only beat themselves .When you see Celtic bringing in an AUSTRALIAN manager you know the ambition of the club .

Ken none of you are interested .I have pointed out to the Rodent Powers have been trying to get people to open accounts or come back to them with plunder bets limited to 20 or 40 notes .The Cork rowers were offered @ 1/1 to win gold .The night before two british swimmers to both medel was offered @ 9/4  In the Mens 1500 11/10 was offered two of the first three in the betting to medal All over priced .I rang the rodent with Golf bets Powers Offered one 5/1 Ousthasen to finish top 5 in the tournament after he finished runner up in the Open .these are just a few of the offers I took .I didnt bother with 15/8 Lowry or Mcilroy to medal no value in that .I will be looking for them to offer a price on Harrington to medal If they do I will play .I have borrowed accounts as my multi accounts have been shut down as the Name on the Credit card or bank account must be the same as the name on the account .

Occi bookies wont take money anymore .Yesterdays GAA .all the Good things won bookies robbing punters with odds of 1/100 as in you put on a euro to win a Penny all yesterdays good things put togeather paid just under 1/3 or about 30% return on your stake .You can make a decent living Gambling if you have Discipline and Patience .Sinn Fein were 11/10 to be the largest Political Party in the Country after the next election that is a certainty but do you want to tie up your coin for up to three years ?Rangers are Certainties to win the Scottish League @4/7 but do you want to tie up your money .Bookies are no different than buying shares or Crypto Coins .

Imagine a Bookie is like Brenda Breslin from the Flats she wears a belly top and Mini Skirt lets you buy her Gargle all night but then gets the bus home .Bookies want you to bet on what they want you to bet on not on what you want to bet on .Your average football match will have about 30 different bets from first corner to correct score how many throws all to get the punter to play but if you went into have a bet for a Grand that the first action would be a throw in they wouldnt take it as they would be afraid you knew one of the players who might kick the ball out .Bookies are no longer Gambling establishments they are light entertainment .I would think about 90% of people who back horses have never been to a racecourse and 100% of people in Ireland betting on American football have never been to a game and Nobody I know could afford to attend a Grand Prix .

Like yourself Merch I do lose and regularly .I seldom bet on horses unless they are well above their real price .I seldom bet on Football matches but do bet on leagues or Competitions as I can trade out of it to take a profit or limit losses .My earnings for this week were 42 Euro Im not going hungry or thirsty .I never cried my covid payments wrre low I may of remarked due to replacing a vehicle and costs associated I qualified for the lower amount .Im happy with my 12800 a year .Will be until I reassess in November .Why would I possibly want to support others to remain in an industry to compete with me do you think im a masochists' .
