Think Bones had one in Startrek ? I picked up a lad one day from the Google Ghetto to the Port said he was one of the Producers on Futurama .He said they Futurama/Simpsons same production company every 3 years they change the writing staff and employ new College students .He said that the students are aware of new things being developed or discussed on campus and they write them into the scripts .then years later when they come to market .People are in awe that the Simpsons or Futurama fortold of their existence .Bit like Homer or Fry meet Tomorrows World .

I asked a doctor one day about something like that.  I wondered why everyone doesn't get a full body MRI every year or two to see if there's anything weird inside you.  The doctor said it would be too expensive and asking the usual questions (blood pressure ok?, breathing ok?, shitting ok?) catches most things.  Sudden weight loss seems to be a big no-no - almost always cancer

Indeed. We can test cars for roadworthiness every 2 years or we at least consider the same worthy of effort. Why is there no NHT? I'd say a lot more folk die from illness that could be prevented if detected early than in RTAs - particularly if you take organ donors on motorcycles out of the equation.
