WHAT THE FUCK would you be contacting a Private Company for .Tell them there are illegal operators which has never been proved and they will think OH There is an opportunity for Us to promote our App and reduce full fare jobs for drivers .And Possibly Direct a few more Licenced Drivers into the area .

I wouldn't encourge FN to exert any more influence in the industry than they already do. They already have far too much influence having, effectively, increased the national taxi fare without a word from NTA.

For getting issues sorted and things changed within the taxi industry?

There's no enforcement, T1990. Taxis meandering out of control while their drivers are fixated on their clever telephone screens are commonplace up above in Dublin. Most taxi drivers seem to consider themselves exempt from speed limits, traffic controls and road markings. While our cars are subjected to multiple tests annually there is no test for drivers whatsoever and, most Irish of all, even if you manage to encounter an enforcement officer and amass penalty points proving yourself to be incompetent your SPSV Driving Licence will still be renewed. It's a complete farce. NTA will tell you enforcement is a matter for RSA, RSA will say it's down to the Gradai, the Gardai are about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. I think it's safe to assume that Free Now have NTA and the Gardai in their pockets. I don't have to tell you they couldn't care a jot about your or your passengers' wellbeing, 15-30% is all that interests them.

Unlikely, the more drivers' ignore the rules and regulations the more money Free Now makes. In fact, I'd suggest it's for that very reason that there is no enforcement.

A DRIVER in Laois was arrested last night for providing a taxi service without a licence or insurance.

The Laois Roads Policing Unit conducted compliance checks with the National Transport Authority, TFI Transport for Ireland, across the county last night.

Gardaí said today that one driver was detected operating a vehicle for hire or reward without a licence or insurance to do so.

Court proceedings have commenced against the driver, who will be brought before an upcoming sitting of Portlaoise District Court.

No wonder the NTA ignore you complaint .They could be parents or anybody picking up their kids .Its almost impossible to prove .
