Another time I got it Right before the Fucking Government .

Refugees travelling here from safe European countries will from tomorrow be required to hold visas under a change agreed by Government.

The Cabinet held an incorporeal meeting this afternoon to finalise the move which tightens immigration rules here amid an accommodation shortage for refugees.

Government says the move is aimed at protecting the integrity of the International Protection System.

The International Protection Office has been receiving applications from people already granted refugee status by other States.

From January 2021 to January 2022 some 479 applications for International Protection here had already been granted protection in another EU state.

There was a total of 6,494 applications for protection in this country during that period.

Visa-free travel will still be available for Ukrainian nationals under the changes which will be in place for one year.

Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Coveney said Ireland's commitment to those fleeing the unjust and illegal war remains steadfast.

Today's decision means that Ireland is temporarily suspending the operation of the Council of Europe Agreement on the Abolition of Visas for Refugees.

Under this agreement refugees from signatory European Countries can travel without a visa or prior clearance if the journey is solely for a visit and for a maximum of three months.

Speaking after the Cabinet meeting, Justice Minister Helen McEntee said today's decision was not taken lightly.

"In recent months, we have seen that the visa exemption provided for in the Council of Europe Agreement is being exploited, including by some who enter the State and subsequently claim international protection, despite having already been granted such protection by another European State," Minister McEntee.

The Agreement allows a State to temporarily suspend it on the grounds of public order, security or public health.

France suspended its operation of the agreement in 2003 and Britain did so in 1986.

DUMB FUCKS JUST COPPED ON .THERE WAS NOTHING TO STOP REFUGEES FLYING INTO IRELAND THEN TAKING THE BUS TO BELFAST AND LOOKING FOR ASYLUM IN THE UK .THE NEW BRITISH TAOISEACH WILL TELL THE TRAITOR OR MICK FROM CORK TO PROTECT THE BRITISH BORDERS FROM INVASION FROM THE REPUBLIC .THEY MIGHT EVEN SUGGEST UNDER THE PROTOCOL THE IRISH NEED TO BUILD A BORDER ON THE ISLAND OF IRELAND .

Here Tarmac from todays Irish Times .....The Government is considering part-funding the construction of thousands of student beds on university campuses which have been shelved due to the soaring cost of construction.

It comes as fears mount that student accommodation shortages will reach crisis levels in September due to a shortage of private rented accommodation, pressure to house Ukrainian refugees and delays to planned student apartments.......... Somebody Listening to what I have been saying for MONTHS .

More of Leos bullshit .Why did they not Part Fund it years ago ?
Did you know Uber helped write the 2016 Fine Gael party election manifesto?

Helen McEntee accepted that our border is made of Swiss cheese by firstly naturalising 17,000 illegal immigrants, then a further 6,000, almost endorsing the work of human traffickers.

Silver that could be the Plan .Create a huge amount of Irish Citizens that want to live in Britain .Create a Border Problem knowing that the Next Government SF will have to deal with it .The options being a SF government reimposing Partition or renegoating the freedom of movement in the Good Friday Agreement .It could be a Political Ploy to embarrass and destroy Shinn Fein .You wouldnt rule out The Traitor and MI5 working together on this .

Very good. Now give the programme a chance. I was cynical at first, but the attention to detail was excellent.

Thirteen Lives on Prime Video now. Haven`t watched it but Ron Howard directs and Rick Staunton and John Volantin were advisors on the movie. Should be authentic.
