What's with all the mongos coming on of late and saying the can't get taxis,couple of radio presenters aswell
Where where these cunts during the pandemic when things where rough for us? Do they mind queueing in the airport going on holidays?what about queuing into coppers looking for there hole...don't hear any of that mentioned

All these Papers and Radio stations sell adverts to taxi apps .These stories are subliminal advertising and will be seen by civil servants who legislate for taxis and will influence their decisions when the App providers lobby for more cabs .

There's 168 hours in a week and it only gets out of shape for a couple of those hours every week leaving for the vast majority of the 168 hours the drivers scratching their cojones. ::fight ::fight ::fight

Anyone know how much road space we have around city centre main demand areas ?
Access Access Access .Try respond to a hail on South William Street .We know its closed off yet the drunk punter dosent ..If you stop on Dame Street or Georges Street everything behind you stops .Plastic dollies along bike lanes and on Street Drinking Tables are restricting taxis from working causing bottlenecks .But this article is just an advertisement for taxi apps and promoting some third rate has been .How did the paper get hold of this terrible injustice ?Paid for advertising by association .

I was gonna post about this but the way the council have changed the flow of traffic into and out of the middle of the city centre means drivers are likely gonna do larger loops than before and may never get back into the middle of town as easy as they could ten or fifteen years ago.The way things are you can walk it faster than you can drive it so passengers hanging around in some busy spots may never see an empty taxi until the seagulls come out.
There are plenty of available taxis around D7 when I need one.They just aren't bothering to race back into town like before because it's a mess.
While I'm moaning those fukking stupid bollards on the cycle lane mean it's impossible to stop and wait for passengers on the apps.They made a bollox of town and there isn't a cyclist to be seen anywhere.

The 2 main drinking/party throughfares in Cork, Oliver Plunkett street is now fully pedestrianized since Covid and Washington street is reduced to one lane with the cycle bollards making accepting an app job in either area almost impossible to pick up from, yet the customers still constantly hail on the apps from these areas.
