I have to renew my SPSV driving license next year. Remembering will be the issue for me!

Fortunately, it's only required every 5 years and there's no test, not even for those who have proved their incompetence by collecting penalty points.
They will be obliged to present proof that the insurance company is well aware of all their penalty ponts, not that it would ever apply to the Reginald Molehusband of Ballbriggan.
Trump has called for help, so I'm on a plane heading for The Strait of Hormuz, talk soon.

Have a read back over this topic before you start the renewal process;

Insurance firms find out for themselves these days but I don't see any relevance in that to Gardai issuing licences to drivers who have proved themselves to be incompetent. At the very least such drivers should be required to sit and pass a driving test if they have 3 or less points and be excluded for any period within which they hold more than 3 points.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Bit harsh rats.  Did you ever in all of your life have penalty points? Have you ever, in the dead of the night, went through an amber light when no one was around? Have you ever drove for a bit with your high beams on without realising and blinded the fcuk out of everyone?

........... and be excluded for any period within which they hold more than 3 points.
If that was to be implemented then there would be a very serious lack of taxis + a much more lenghty dole que.

Getting old is compulsory whilst growing up is voluntary.
