Irish Rail has announced times of late-night Dart and commuter rail services for weekends in the run up to Christmas and New Year.
It said late-night Dart and commuter services will operate from this Friday.
The late-night services will have security personnel on board to ensure customer safety, Irish Rail said.
Services will operate across the Dart network, as well as commuter services to Maynooth, to Dundalk, Co Louth, and to Kildare via the Phoenix Park Tunnel.
The full schedule of late night Dart and commuter services is as follows.
December 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17 and Friday, December 23:
· 00:30 and 01:30 from Pearse serving all stations to Howth
· 00:30 and 01:30 from Connolly serving all stations to Greystones
· 00:40 and 01:40 from Pearse serving Tara St, Connolly, and all stations from Howth Junction to Dundalk
· 00:20 and 02:00 from Pearse serving all stations to Maynooth
· 23:50 and 01:50 from Pearse serving all stations to Drumcondra, and all stations from ParkWest to Kildare
Late-night on December 31 after New Year’s Eve concerts and celebrations:
· 01:30 and 02:30 from Pearse serving all stations to Howth
· 01:30 and 02:30 from Connolly serving all stations to Greystones
· 01:40 and 02:40 from Pearse serving Tara St, Connolly, and all stations from Howth Junction to Dundalk
· 01:20 and 03:00 from Pearse serving all stations to Maynooth
· 00.50 and 02:50 from Pearse serving all stations to Drumcondra, and all stations from ParkWest to Kildare
Irish Rail said fares would be charged at normal rates and said customers can use their Leap card or buy cash fares.
Weekly, monthly and annual season tickets will be valid on late night services, it said, so season ticket holders can use the services at no extra charge.
