Jimmy La Fave. Does the 3rd best version of "Walk away Renee". Glen Campbell virtuoso guitarist.
Glen Campbell played on numerous hits before he found independent success. He was part of the legendary Wrecking Crew, a group of musicians most never heard of. There`s a great documentary online about them.

Indeed'nhe did, and he couldn't read music, but he could do this..

His inability to read music didn`t diminish the respect the Wrecking Crew had for Glen, watch the documentary, it`s very entertaining.

First time I heard that was when it was the theme intro for a racing/sports programme in the 70s/80s.  Here`s the original by Mason Williams https://youtu.be/EEzyrpfrPEI

Unfortunately dementia eventually took away his ability to play

Jimmy Webb, a wonderful songwriter, wrote many songs specifically for Glen cried when he heard Glen's version of this. It will be played at my own funeral.
