Corpo is the landlord. If they're not maintaining the properties they've got to pay up.Maybe they should stop charging only 50 quid a week rent and get more staff for maintenance..

The councils don't know how culpable they are it seems...........but they don't compensate the claimant...........we do.........the taxpayer.

It's probably cheaper to pay out on a few of these claims than hire thousands of tradesmen to fix the problems.

If someone living in a council house c/o HAP etc.......defames someone on Facebook...seeing as how the tenant is under the stewardship/wardship of a state body....can the complainant sue the council for reparation.......just asking as I was told they can, but I doubt it personally.

Lip its a virtual circle Insurers blame claims for high premiums .ECB told them to increase their reserves only way to do that is increase premiums so claims justify higher premiums and move the blame onto claimants and judges for higher profitable premiums ..My insurance has risen 300% over 12 years no claims .My first taxi insurance was £600 with Quinn now its 2400 with AxA

That's it, John..........even if the claims were as miniscule as they are in the U.K....they'd find a reason to hammer the ordinary 5' 8".

If you're in a corpo gaff and something breaks you need to hound them to turn up.Most of the time it takes weeks for an appointment. You can't be giving some plumber all of yer dole to fix a leak.

I wonder if the poor unfortunates dumped into council flats and high-rises back a few yrs ago could sue for the respiratory problems caused by drying clothes indoors....mould and mildew spores etc.? Where does it end though?......when there's nobody paying tax, everyone will have to start taking responsibility for themselves.

The Claimant is called Collins.

P.s. How can no one in Avila Park not know something about Tarmacking a drive? 8)

Think €25K and you're closer to the mark.

Read John Grisham for an insight to lawyer's mindset. Class actions"torts" make some millionaires overnight,  private Gulf Stream jets etc.
"So look into the mirror, do you recognise someone, is it who you always thought you would become, when you were young?"
