Big Dommos youngfella is home for a week .He lives in London works as a bar man .He says he is thinking about moving home ,because of the cost of living .He says the congestion charge and the new diesel charge means it costs him £23 a day to drive to workand unless he can get rid of his diesel car and replace it he recons its not wotyh his while working .As he pointed out only older cars pay the emissions charge and only poor people drive old cars .Bit ironic on May Day that workers are being forced out of workby taxes .

Don’t need a car if you live in London.
Excellent public  transport,
One don’t need a car if you live and work in Dublin City.

Thats the plan Jack price people onto public transport .that dosent exist ,wont be long before Dublin bus go 24 hour .New drivers dont have same T&Cs as Dublin Bus drivers .Think Dommos Youngfella lives out near Finsbury Park works in the City .so plenty of good public transport links .

The new TFI crowd probably have this boxed off

Pat and Concepta went over to manage the bars in Birmingham, Wolverhamton and Ealing et al with free accommodation thrown in with their shite bar food dinners and 10k p.a, salaries (combined) etc. Whitbreads etc made millions from Mick and Assumpta being none too fussy.

True enough... but Mick didn't do too bad for himself either. Only the salary was subject to taxation... in the narrow sense.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.
