Experts saying uber charge 2.50 per mile, driver take is 1.75.
Now if they could get rid of the driver?
The alternative is a 30% price hike.

Suppose not bad for a company that hasn’t made a profit and probably never will.

Anything with Travis Kalanick's name attached to it is gonna be hard to sell.
Travis thought he was the next Jesus Christ, but as it turned out he wasn't fit to tie Jesus's boots !
Travis got a good Ten years outta his yankee bullshite, Jesus got 2 Thousand years and counting !

Nice one.The Uber mania is getting fueled by the users and possibly the drivers who think it's a magical new idea. Not realising that hacks or similar have been around a long time filling in the gaps taxis leave behind.Uber is just hacks with apps rather than radios.I sometimes explain Ubers business model to our customers from abroad and they're shocked that the drivers get subsidised to operate below the taxi meter. They think the lad behind the wheel can live on cut priced fares indefinitely. They're the ones buying the shares.

I looked into Uber before it floated and there is no figure for driver churn .They have a figure for active drivers and active users but how many of those drivers are active and how many passengers are active .Uber were losing almost $2.16c per trip after paying drivers and riders to sign up ..Looking at traffic you could only guarentee a 5 minute pick up time if about 30% of cars on the road were aligned .Their taxi product is a loser .Driverless cars wont happen in my lifetime .Trumps trade war with China is all about oil .Most of the rare earths needed to build batteries comes from China .Trumpwill convince drivers to stay with oil and not allow China control the supply of Batteries .

A bit like sewing a second fanny on to a woman or sticking an extra pair of tits on her ,it sounds like a great idea doubling the output but nobody really wants it .
Uber have another two billion shares to sell .This was not a real IPO it was just a public funding round dressed upas an IPO .Based on their turnover and investments in other tec companies .Ubers realvalue is about $13 a share and at that price it couldnt cover its debts .
