I got a small dent on my front passenger door (about 4cm x 3cm) but it has passed suitability many times.
I'm gonna have a rattle of this yoke fer 5.71 Euro to see if I can pull it out.

If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

I got this item in the post this morning and with the help of me Chungwan we did manage to pull the small dent to almost un-noticeable and she (qualified nail salon professional) painted it up as there was a crack in the paintwork too with an old touch-up Toyota Silver brush I bought on ebay years back and she buffed it off to almost completely un-noticeable.
Mind you the equipment is very light touch, the trigger on the gun broke easily but you could still easily push the glue stick in manually. And Two of the 'Traction Gasget's' broke in half while being used, so it is very light touch.
But fer a Fiver, it did a fine job on a very small dent fer me.

Booked and paid for me SGS last week 29th Feb and I was Tax Complient.

Anyways go to Greenhills cenmtre on Tuesday morning and the guy failed me because the TCC was not cleared, he also said he would have failed me anyway because of the fact my meter sits in the pocket in the middle of the dashboard and the door is closable, he told me that this cannot be allowed as meter has to be visable at all times, told me to either PLUG the receiver Hole or remove the door.

Anyways went home and got in touch with me accountant and he was able to get me cleared in about 1 minute , says the revenue sometimes do this without warning for no reason at all !!!!

So back tonite at 5.50 for confession part 2 (less €30), but please take note

1. Check your TCC on day of inspection
2. Make sure your Meter is not in a compartment that can be concealed

@STC's
That's ridiculous re the TCC,when you ring and book your LRA,they only give you an appointment based on you having passed your NCT and being tax compliant....the only document you need to produce on the day is a valid Insurance cert,

I do ring my accountant prior to ringing for an appointment to make sure all is in order with revenue,she sends me a PDF of the online cert.

You need to have tax clearance on the day of your test as well as the booking date.Just unlucky.

Separately you are supposed to have tax clearance for everyday while your plate is active.
