I dunno where the end of me post went....
But they called me that because I would disappear for weeks or even a month or two then reappear when me bank account ran dry.Do a load of hours then piss off. Then repeat. They kept asking me had I got another job.I have since realised that loads short shifts suit my relaxed attitude to money and work better. Now I'm saving for a car so will have to do a bit more.

Anyway posting your earnings on social media is the mark of a bollox.I think VD is seeing the light.Ken used to post a lot about earnings then he stopped. All it does is draw attention from any cunt with access to Google and a mobile.
Very true the revenue have strange ways and means of verifying your earnings

They'll have no problem verifying VD's....just give MT a holler...they'll be only too happy to comply with Revenue.

It's not just revenue but I've had countless lads in the car working in other jobs enquiring about how business is.They've been conned into thinking they can make an easy €1500 a week driving a taxi because some new lad somewhere was bragging that he had a good week.Things are better but we're really only getting back what we lost in the recession. They never mention the costs and the big tax bills now that we're slaves for Mytaxi.

MFH drivers are only slaves to dispatchers because they chose to give up their right to be self employed.I believe I will be lucky to survive one more year as an independent, but at least I will be happy in the knowledge that I stuck to my principles.no radio dispatcher will ever have the privilage of telling me what to wear, how much to charge, and certainly not disciplining me .the crooked money that was poured into the taxi industry by certain unscrupulous individuals will I hopr one day be exposed, and then we will see what happens to the bully boys who run certain cab companies in Dublin

Don’t think many people on here are paying big tax bills.
By the way what is a big tax bill ?

I think he's toned it down a little.Used to be a time when all he wanted to talk about was earnings. We all have meters and cars if we wanna make more we can so there's nothing really worth bragging about IMO.
