If one done an early start on a Monday morning you would have your days wages done and dusted by 9 o clock.
Car then paid for the week.

Not sure about that one but a decent Saturday would see a good part-timer being set up for his couple of hours on a Tues and Wed. If you can't make your weekly costs on a Fri night-Sat night.........you're too busy on this forum.

Any gobshite can make money now but you're assuming it will be this easy all the time.I recall doing 14-hour shifts just to gross a 100 euros only 7/8 years ago.When there's no work and too much competition your car and insurance still needs to be paid.End result is men working twice the average week to maintain the lifestyle they've become used to.

Let us not forget we had a 3% increase in PSVs recently.Let's assume that will increase every year as the Freenow driver incentives kick in. They've clearly gotten a grip on the taxi exam.

I agree with everything yur saying Merc.... I'll add this.... Where do these newfound drivers from all over Ireland head on Thurs Friday, sat nite? Dublin centre.especially wen it's a quiet period .. We'r did half of Ireland go in the last recession wen everybody emigrated from ther borehole kip? I recently mention that I'm experimenting wit day work because my earnings are down big time.....Ide say the ammount of taxis in Dublin at night has doubled in the past year and I've felt it in me pocket enormously.... I've accepted already that this job is already fucked

In the dispatcher recruitment drive..and the nta gettin a pain in ther bollix listenin to complaint by cnuts who can't get a taxi to work or from the airport because the airport won't let cnuts work the airport cause they makin loads money off drivers ... But the poor dopey cnuts that are getting loans out for 50 grand to buy wheelies, insurance etc are taking all the risk.... They have kids and mortgacges or rent to pay for aswell and they don't realise that ther earnings are not a fixed salary for the terms of ther loan.... That they cud be earning half or less of Wat they earning now depending on economic forces that no one can predict.... Many economists are predicting a great depression much worse that the last one..... I don't know Wat brexit will do?.... But I do know any slow down will hit these poor cnuts hard.....if I wasn't a lazy cnut and an anti social aspergers cunt  and I needed the money... I'm very serious wen I say lidl
Is a far superior long term mode of employment and more lucrative in the long term....
