We do get all that and much more in preferential work, even when/if I ever get me brand new Joe, I will have it branded ASAP.
Why would I want to be looking at all the other plebs sitting on ranks or driving about empty while there is plenty of work available with the PUC which negates the commission.
By night or at weekends when I normally work a 2KM job can be covered in just a few minutes, no way in Cork would you get a rank job or a street hail in 3 or 4 minutes. I have no problem paying the commission as long as I'm getting the PUC. Bed Logo's are a No No !

To be fair, someone said they've increased commission to 15% in London where they get no free advertising from drivers... so the FN ambassadors might be saving the rest of us a few notes. They could easily increase commission to 40% here. Lads who were paying Irish dispatch firms c.€80/week for more (lucrative) work during the last boom are already paying Free Now in excess of €300 and are happy to do so.
