@Dalymount  I was out to dinner yesterday with some British/Welsh friends and they asked why Ireland insisted on the backstop .I explained it to them .They then asked When will Ireland or the EU back down ?I said never we cant .Our Leader decided to promote the Backstop and a bulletproof guarentee that there would be no border on the island of Ireland knowing this was not possible if we were to remain in the single market as he knew we need to protect the rest of Europe from illegal imports of goods from a non Eu GB .We or I mean he cannot now backtrack on the backstop to appease the UK and Ulster Unionisim .We did that before when Dev instructed Collins to do a deal at any cost to get a Free State any backtracking on the backstop would once again see Ireland cow tou to the Crown

  When the UK voted to leave Donny T was not elected but his election has pulled the rug from under them .Trump has gelded all but the biggest economies with sanctions and tarriffs .He will destroy Britain and their economy in return for a Free Trade deal with the USA we might even see the US insist on the return of Nuclear weapons to Greenam or some other British base as the US gets ready to threaten the EU /Russia .

 Dollymount the British are looking for a way to back down take the deal or revoke Boris is forcing the issue in the hope Parliament gets him off the hook .Boris has two options a second referendum that remain will win or a general election that he will lose .This is another Dunkirk moment for the UK they have bitten off more than they can chew and are looking for a glorious retreat or surrender that they can pass off as a victory .We can not sell out or undermine our place as full members of the EU to help the British save face .Leo decided to dress up as the Grand old Duke of York and march his men up to the non existing border .If he marches them back down again it will be seen in certain quarters as another great Surrender by Ireland to the will of the Crown and there will be a heavy price to pay for that .His megaphone Barnam and Bailey politics has come back to bite him .If he hadent of shouted about it lads down the flats or on the Falls Road wouldnt of known anything about it and Diplomacy and political draughtsmen might of swerved around it but the Blanchardstown Babe has pinned his colours to the mast and any capitulation will be seen as a surrender once again to the Crown .

Now that's a fact.sibce then there has been huge resistance from the remain side for a second referendum, or Indeed the revocation of article 50 altogether.now here is my question .just say there was a second referendum and the remain side won (and that's debatable wether they would or not) but just say they did.DO THEY SERUOUSLY THINK THE LEAVE SIDE WILL JUST ROLL OVER AND ACCEPT IT   .

Of course they wont rollover .This will go on and on .Think about what Britain is .It is a country built on theft ,looting and terrorism .They raped the world but the world has changed and now they have nothing but still try to find their place in the world .Apart from Soap Operas ,Pop Music and Premier League Football what else have they got .There are hundreds of thousands of Irish living in Britain .If Brexit goes ahead Britain will be fucked and Paddy will be blamed for the (IRISH )backstop If it dosent happen Paddy will be blamed for the (IRISH ) backstop .Leo couldnt resist standing in the spotlight taking the lead putting Irish citizens front and center .This is an EU /UK issue but the British media are now making it an Irish UK issue .

 Listening to Leo yesterday telling the Brits it dosent matter what you do until you deal with the IRISH Backstop.I thought Barniea was appointed to do the deal not Leo .The EU are on Holiday.Parliament are on Holiday.the Dail are on Holiday .Is Leo on a solo run painting the EU into a corner so he has a platform to fight a general election on .BUT in the background I hear ." There not Gone away you know "I cant see any purpose for Leo to go saber ratteling and when I dont understand the logic that worries me .Two possibilities Leo is on an ego trip remember he took out Enda to feed his ego or else he is being used and so are the Irish as cannon fodder by the EU .AS you say Pressure will come on Leo to back down .Is he building a backstory of Look how hard I tried BUT .Silence from Merkel and Macron since Bojo got the start either means one of two things they are relying on Barniea or they have decided to cave to the Crown  and Leo knows and is pushing back .Im hopeing the EU looked at the UK and thought who needs you and will cut them loose and the UK realizing  their bluff has been called and remain .

One could argue the first referendum was in 1973 when the UK decided to join.  Second one was 2016 when they decided to leave.  Why not have a 'best of 3'?

Watch BBc as they realize that if they leave without a deal they are fucked .They have a deal now accept it of fuck off .Why would Ireland agree to make ourselves second class European Community Members to suit the Crown?Why would the EU treat one of their members as second class members to suit the Crown .Britain are asking the EU to fuck one of their members to suit the Crown .If they do that then the fundamental reason of unity behind the EU is gone and thats the end of the Union .As I said nothing to do with Ireland V Uk its the EU vThe Crown .If there was and I think Boris will opt for a second Referendum with the Tories supporting out the result would be overwhelming remain .Why would a Europe of 500 million people march to the Crowns drumbeat .Are you a Britophile .
