Below Minimum .Some Posters on here rant and rave about how little work some drivers do .You cannot earn enough money to retire if you cannot earn enough money to live .The secret is make your money make your money .The two biggest investments Irish working class make is their house and a bet on the lottery or ponies .I doubt there is more than 1 poster on here ever bought a share in any thing .

 Working mans best investment was his home .It gave him shelter and security and in some cases it was worth what he paid for it including interest and more .As soon as working man discovered that and decided to buy a few to rent the powers that be bankrupted that revenue stream .The word is descriptive .WORKING CLASS .in other words you need to work just to exist nobody said make anything more than survive .If your kids are looking for toil get into government jobs with pensions .No need to be clever in fact it helps if your a dumb cunt that way you can cope with the tedium of paper pushing and paper clip geometry .

If you have to work 60 hours a week to pull a decent wage then you've done nothing special.Try doing 60hours in Lidl or Mackers and you'd be making decent money too.Yer only kidding yerself if you think otherwise.

I just can't apply myself to do the hours I used to do...I think we've talked about that ad nauseam...but after 18yrs driving and no real debts to speak of(mortgage) I feel I can take my foot off the pedal...pun fukin intended!!

I've been driving for money for 23 years.It's easy but it's boring driving the taxi.I never really see it as good money because of how expensive it is to be on business.

Even if you're taking a grand a week in you're doing no better that the Luas or bus Eireannn driver who gets holidays and sick pay.

Yes but I'm only 42,the job is easy but completely boring though.Once you get the job of taxi driver you stay in that position forever.Same shit week in week out.

Only plus side is you can come and go when you want.
