.......I think a lot of you guys should wear tinfoil hats.......
"Tinfoil hats", that is a pretty unusual expression.
I had a little peep using the 'Search' button above and One particular forum member seemed to use that same phrase quite frequently.

"Saying someone is "wearing a tin foil hat" or "is a tin foil hat" means that they have paranoia or a belief in conspiracy theories."

Good evening all, so an update where I am.

Taxi insurance €5200
Taxi rental €220 per week
That’s €€320 a week without fuel, tax etc so I think €500 is a safe figure per week before I make a penny.

I have opted for a limo licence and work as exec driver for free now,
Insurance €1500
No rental as I own my car which falls into the nta list of cars able for a limo.

Any advice where I could get work outside of free now as a limo?

Hope all are doing well even the grumps lol

Who's providing your insurance? And have you checked if they allow you to cover app work for that price.I remember reading somewhere that app work was excluded from some polices.

500 a week sounds a bit much to have to earn.I'm barely earning that gross most of the year.

Insurance is from Axa, I didn’t read or told anything about app work, I did state I was doing exec work for free now on the application form

Yeah €500 is crazy how do they expect new drivers to get started ridiculous,

Truth be told, the NTA are happy with the current oversupply.
High insurance is a useful artificial barrier.
