Thought it was excellent.Makes you wonder why DeNiro pi$$ed all over his legacy by doing all those shit movies between Goodfellas and this.

I enjoyed it except for the bits that looked to me like a cut scene from a video game.

At one point his De Niro's mouth was closed while it was meant to be open while talking.Only for a split second but still.

Jaws: The Revenge (1987)] I have never seen it, but by all accounts it is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific. 8)

Was it during a flashback scene? Might have been a glitch in the new rejuvenating software that Scorcese was convince to use. They discuss it in the informal chat between the 4 of them after the movie. It was used to great effect (mostly) for the flashbacks to when they were younger.
"So look into the mirror, do you recognise someone, is it who you always thought you would become, when you were young?"

I think so.I actually watched it over two nights so can't remember exactly where but it was noticeable and made me think it was my TV's software trying to smooth the video rather than a special effects mess up at first.

Video games have been using similar-looking stuff for a few years.Still good though.I'm sure they'll get it perfected for future movies.

talkin to thicks in the car there seems to be a backlash because joe pesci did'nt beat anybody with a phonebook or stab anybody with a brick. it was the same when the sopranos ended and the eejits did'nt get their scarface ending.
