Hey Ken.....what are the best seats in the Marquee...i can go standing but i think seating would be best?
If'n your going be sure to have a Taxi booked in advance fer after the show (either me or Korky) because the Taxies in Cork don't bother too much with the Marquee, they usually get 1 fare in to town fer a Tenner and then the traffic is mayhem and they don't bother coming back.
There will be 1000 people at the show and about 50 Taxies working it, Do the maths !

They're the same in Dublin if my trip to Vicar Street is anything to go by !

Does anyone find John Bishop funny? I find him most irritating.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

If he was drowning I'd throw Brendan O'Carroll at him to weigh him down.

Did you cancel Hal ?

I did, fer the Cat Stevens concert, it's a bit of a dose to get your dosh back,
but I did eventually get back 186 of the 203 originally paid fer the tickets after 3 weeks.

They must give you a refund if requested if the event is postponed, but they don't make it easy.

No....Ticketmaster sent a mail to say it's rescheduled for the same weekend next year...happy enough with that.....we had accommodation booked and had a deposit paid but it's a B&B over a boozer so i was in contact with them and said we'd like to book for next year and no need to return the deposit....bit disappointing, we were looking forward to it....and your shit stained rear seat!!

They did refund us for the Longitude ticket that we go for our daughter.

Seemingly the builders were booked in to build a housing estate on that site after the marquee concerts finished this year.
So I don't know the story on next years concerts ?

I had a major Cork event promoter in the cab last weekend who tells me how deep in the 'Doo Doo' he is in, and exploiting to a new business.

He also tells me that ALL the major promoters and major ticket sellers are 'Up $hite Creek', (which is easy enough to believe) and then he adds;
"If you have tickets booked fer anything, then get a refund and get it today because most of them will go bust".
