I'd say it's just an automated message.I doubt they can afford to switch anyone off at a time when they're paying new drivers to pass the geography test.

Of course there will still be the same amount of work. Do you seriously think people will stop using taxis just because they won't have the luxury of tapping their phone ?

Problem being they're tapping their phones even to donate to charity....move with the times or become another T-Rex.

Daily..wit all due respect ..I'm afraid you are not conscious of the extent of phone app  addiction that is taking place amongst the public......apart from the silly hour Saturday morning peak demand at Christmas now ....drivers are not going to abandon the app and in most cases are just as addicted to it as the customers....especially the lick arse ambassadors and thers no point in repeatedly telling them to  stop .....its an exercise in futility......ide say if ken was asked to come in an get his arm tattooed wit his freenow identity number heed duly oblige an bring in a box of dougnuts for them aswell .....an a jar of vaseline if they asked

The moral of the story... don't accept a job unless you're going to do it. A lot of FN drivers take jobs and ply for hire on the way, cancelling if they get flagged. That's not on, if you take a job cover it.

Did you proceed to the pick up point before ringing? If so, that's a run of the mill no contact, nothing to be concerned about. Iif you waited 5 mins before cancelling you qualify for a no contact fee of €5.00.

Certain drivers don't seem to give a shit how long the block up main roads...in fact they seem entitled!!
