To be fair, most of the gangs of youths I see roaming the streets of the northside suburbs are predominately white (presumably Irish by accident of birth) Octy. Joe Duffy was telling us how the women of Clondalkin had to cancel a cycling club because they were being terrorised by Irish youths on BMX type bicycles. A woman in my taxi told me of two elderly women being attacked in the Moatview area of Coolock (Harmonstown end) with the woman's dog being stolen from her in one of those instances, again gangs of local white Irish kids out of control, the same gang apparently caused havoc on Halloween night ending with the "riot squad" (probably meant Public Order Unit) being called in.

Stealing an old woman's dog is a new low... IMO. As for mobile phones being stolen, I'm not saying none are but a lot of these Dublin kids are pretty streetwise, new model comes out, turn on the waterworks and say they got mugged by one of dem blacks = free upgrade whether from mammy and daddy or the insurance.
