Sad to see some cyclist was killed this morning by the Luas .Who made the decision to run a train up a street full of drunks .Where was health and safety study .Any taxi driver will tell you how professional we need to be when driving in certain city center streets and how aware we are of drunks and drugg addled arseholes .In what universe did it make sense to run a train up Harcourt street at 3 in the morning .Saw the arrow after midnight in Clonsilla two passengers on board .RIP to the lad who lost his life probably cycled that rout every night after work and never expected the Santa Missile to appear .

The luas goes relatively fast for something that takes so long to stop.Cyclist is at fault.Should be more careful.I didn't hear anyone asking to ban night taxis when the African driver drove over the cyclist who fell on to the road on Patrck street.Erm you're stirring.

The accident happened near the charlemont Luas  stop which is where it starts being raised up, the cyclist was obviously cycling the tracks, probably had headphones blaring, possibly drunk after a night out, falls off bike, luas hits him, he is brown bread.
Feel sorry for Luas driver.

The Gardai had a cyclist stopped on Grand Parade last night,can't remember what time,but he looked a bit rubber wearin dark clothes and not even a bell on his bike.

With the amount of bodies on the street....not many,41 and 15 running 24 hours....but punters socialising on the southside still have to make it downtown to get those buses much like the Nitelinks,
Picked up a girl on Wexford St last night about midnight headin to Carrickmines,traffic was fukin mental as usual but before she gets in she asks me if i'll take her,she said three taxis refused her....that's the shite you're dealing with.

When was it an arrestable offence, DM? I got summonsed for it back in the 80s and fined IR£500 when I didn't turn up in court, reduced to IR£150 on appeal.

Big Dommo was up in Kilmainham court in 1978 charged with having no light on his bike no reflector and no mudgards and no brakes .Judge said how do you plead? Dommo pauses and says Justice with all the missing bits did I actually have a bike at all .Judge pondered the question and decided it was an issue for a higher court dismissed the district court case and Dommo never heard any more about it .

I'm seeing mad shit form the cyclists lately.Around by College street and Trinity and the green/g
Grafton where the line bends the dumb shits are cycling in between the gap of the tram and the footpath.It's only about 18 inches wide.I predict more dead cyclists.
