Introducing Uber Pro

Uber Pro is a rewards program that recognizes outstanding drivers, to help you reach your goals—on and off the road.

How it works

Earn points

Drive with Uber to earn points. Some trips may earn you more points than others. See more details in the Driver app.

Offer quality service to riders

In addition to earning points, you must maintain certain ratings to earn Gold, Platinum, and Diamond rewards. The requirements vary by region. Please check the Driver app for more information.

Get rewards

The higher the status you earn, the more rewards you unlock. Your status is determined based on your points and quality ratings over a fixed 3-month period.

Earn rewards faster

Trips completed during select hours each day earn extra points. Check the Driver app to see when you can earn points faster.

Quality service to riders unlocks more rewards

Rewards are given based on how you use the Uber App. To unlock Gold, Platinum, and Diamond status and continue receiving rewards, you must earn points and maintain certain ratings. To get more information, tap the menu icon in the Driver app, then tap Uber Pro and the right arrow near the top of the screen.

Earn points and enjoy rewards during fixed 3-month periods

You earn points during fixed 3-month periods. Points reset after each period.

When you earn enough points to unlock the next status of rewards, you start enjoying your new rewards right away. Keep your rating high and cancellation rate low to continue enjoying rewards until the end of the next 3-month period.

Do points make prizes?  No mention of money in that message...

Doesn't say what the rewards are. I guess paying 20% less freight than you'd pay Free Now (for the time being anyway) is reward number 1.

I got me Uber account ready but they want me to drop in to the office to get a photo.I'll have to do after me I'm as holliers.Obviosly previous security breaches are behind this new policy.

Hopefully they try to capitalise on Freenow's greed and don't try to increase their commission.

Like I said already Uber are just as scummy as 15%now but they're more honest about their ambitions.

In the 15%now statement to the Irish times they say the 25% increase in commission is gonna be used to increase the national fleet. The bit about improving the technology is bollox. The app worked fine over 6/7 years ago.

I've been on Uber for a month.Ive been offered about 90 jobs and done 30 odd.
Don't expect it to be anything but an infill for FreeNow.
Cons:
No destination,ever
No way to limit range(offered the Royal Marine at 830 am when in Churchtown)
Their map is shite.

That's kinda like what Hailo was like at the beginning. Not many cars so the app was firing all sorts of jobs miles away at you. It's probably more of a symptom of drivers not bothering to log in as Freenow was giving them everything they needed.

I noticed the number of Uber taxis at the Aiport has doubled since before the 15%now increase. So maybe some lads are using it more.

I said it before that signing up to Uber is like trying go catch HIV to cure cancer.Sounds stupid but they may be one of the few companies with the money to take 15% now on. Competition is the only way we can stop them crucifying us.

Or as one contributor put it when Hail0 was bailed out by the Daimler - not the first time the Germans made the Jews* dig their own graves.

*Black Cab driving in London is traditionally a Jewish dominated trade.
