I'd say the Govt are waiting to see how things go with the Italians in town this weekend.  If there's a spike in infections next week, then they'll cancel the parade and tell the Paddy Day tourists to stay in their hotels and drink Guinness.  Maybe let them reclaim the VAT on their beer  :2cheers  This weekend, I've been avoiding the city centre (and Italians) and sticking to the suburbs.  Money's down a bit but not as bad as if I got infected by the Italians and had to spend 2 weeks at home!

There's worse things than the virus anyways.  First taxi I saw this morning had been crashed into by 2 scumbags in a stolen car in Finglas.  Taxi driver was ok and the Guards were on-scene arresting the 2 scroats.  Looked like one of them was trying to protest his innocence but the crashed car and collapsed wall was a bit of a giveaway  C:-)  Later that day, a teenager on a motorbike was pulling wheelies up the middle of Cardiffsbridge Rd while the Garda calmly watched while waiting to turn right and away from him...  If he came off the bike, he was gonna take some motorist with him  >:(
They should be given a line of coke and an infected €5 note.

renters cannot make cash to cover rental .The schools of is a separate issue will mean lots of people staying home to mind the kids they usually put into the baby farms probably see taxi owning teachers back on the roads .Rang up today to ask how to get paid if your self employed you will need a doctors cert I asked what about no work and got an interesting answer .Although passenger numbers may be reduced that does not mean you cannot get fares so unlikely we will get anything .Their interpretation of self employed is more if you are a contractor and your main employer closes .I suppose there has to be rules or farmers would look to be paid to watch grass grow .
