So the NTA contacted the driver to see if he would accept a call from the HSE .So what do we know from this ?You are being monitored by the NTA and the NTA are making that data available to other state agencies .Also why was the driver not asked to fumigate the car ? They seem to be making it up as they go.

the taxi review said cameras on ranks I remember pointing out it was an invasion of privacy as other licenced businesses like bookies or bars are not monitored by the state .but as usual I was ignored and the usual idiots couldnt see the point ,just like the on board cameras and tech in the roofie .

Speaking of fumigation, I had to throw out a mattress that wasn't slept on for 4 weeks....amazing what grows under those sheets.

They never proceeded with cameras on ranks John, just like loads of other promises they made. Like removing criminals from the industry, like cameras monitoring illegal ranking , etc

Half the cunts on here don't even know where the official stands are. What's the point in putting cameras on the ranks when so many are happy to pay 15% commission for street work.Ermy there's a good reason you get ignored...yer only two days away from drinking her own piss.No disrespect intended.

What do you be reading Where did it say anything about cameras to monitor Illegal ranks ?Obviously they have cameras on ranks they found this driver in minutes .Where did you get the Idea they would Remove Criminals from the Industry .We do not do double jeopardy Unless when sentencing the Judge said and you cannot drive a taxi the Taxi Regulator or the Gards cannot or do not have extrajudicial powers to act they can refuse you a licence but in 99.9999999999999% of appeals you will get a licence .Irish Law is not retrospective In fact the Supreme court just Ruled in the Dwyer case that the Ruling made by the Appeal court judge regarding the collecting of Data from Phones should not be retrospective and only apply to cases heard after the Ruling So removing Criminals would be Illegal unlawfull and Unconstitutional .Preventing Criminals in future is a different issue .I hope that cleared up your missunderstanding .

My understanding is/was that Alan Kelly (at that time) published his proposals to remove serious criminals from the industry, to monitor illegal ranking, etc the fact that nothing was ever done about a certain can company illegally instructing to stand for hire in hotel carparks, would bare our what I said EMPTY PROMISES BY THE NTA

The taxi act was passed by the Dail .On Cameras on Ranks it allows evidence of taxi use be introduced in a court as Monitoring Taxis is Legal under the act .Kelly then tried to introduce on Board Cameras this existing law that allowed monitoring of taxies opened the door for on board cameras .Just because it says taxis on ranks does not mean the Judge will interpret it as a Camera bolted to a pole he will interpret it as it is legal to monitor taxi use under the Act .

On illegal ranks in Hotels it was suggested you need Planning Permission but this was never challenged and as most Pubs or Hotels are private property owner consent to carry out a commercial activity on his premises would surfice .You still think taxi driving is some sort of executive Career its just below Van Driver as Delivering a box needs real Geography knowledge as a Box cannot direct the Driver

Ya see John . This is an ongoing argument you have had before. Your interpretation of the law is, that ownership of the premises supersedes the DCC rules. In other words if the hotel owner gives permission to stand for hire in his car park, you seem to think this permission supersedes DCC rules where they clearly state the only place a taxi may stand for hire is at an officially appointed taxi rank

You have Constitutional Rights over your Private Property Guarenteed by the Constitution these rights Superseed DCC By laws .So lets interpret that if you are standing at a STAND you are STANDING for hire so if I take what you said literally if you are not at an OFFICIAL TAXI RANK you are not standing at all .

Watch out...Watch out....never mind lookie lookie.....

https://www.irishtimes.com/opinion/to-tackle-homelessness-we-must-amend-the-constitution-1.3189836

IF such an amendment was passed or even proposed the big property companies would put everything up for sale and crash the banks and destroy the state .Thats like suggesting as the population of Ireland is shrinking we should lower the age of consent to 9 .
