no have to pay for it as it blew during the headlight test ,dont mind ill ring and make appointment .Have a few weeks before renewal .

Better to replace both headlight bulbs, no point having the other one fail as well

Thats crazy that it is not just a visual.absolutely outrageous money making racket.they dont have ro use any equipment in this case.if it was me id be fuming

Blew  before the headlight focus test .So they do need to use equipment 28 yoyo for a retest  not going to break me .Im happy enough live 500 yards away from the test center .

Always put new bulbs in before test....then remove and replace with the old ones after test,
