Taoiseach on the telly
« on: March 17, 2020, 08:39:58 pm »
Tonight at 9 I’ll speak to you on @RTE and @VirginMedia_One. This is a Patrick’s Day like no other. We cannot stop the virus but we can push it back. We will always put your life and your health first. In future let them say: when things were at their worst, we were at our best

I gotta agree John M, just imagine if we still had Enda in charge ?

The one statement fer me that stood out was; "This is the calm before the storm" !

Thats the one part of his speech I WOULD NOT have found comforting when he said its the calm before the storm, although I appreciate his honesty.he didnt dress it up,he told it like it is

I was expecting the same but ya can't lock everything down, people must eat, go to doctor, chemist, etc.

Ya like him now ...its an emotional reaction to fear .....in 2 weeks wen the body bags are piling up outside hospitals and the doctors and nurses are pleading for help ......you'll hate him again
The health service in this country was first attacked by dessie o mally and the fat bird mary  barney  ...and fianna fail and fianna gowl Finnished the job .....
I'll say it again ...get the fuk home an close the door
