Also if I pass out my taxi next week and then cancel the PSV they might make me do another suitability to re licence it.That's why I had to email the NTA.

Yeah no probs I'd say there are loads in the same boat Horsey.

Thanks again man. Maybe just maybe we might get through this with our plates and policies intact,  hopefully.

I'm not worried about the NCB or the policy that's safe IMO.The plate is supposed to automatically lapse once you remove the proper cover. They have to understand these are very unusual circumstances.

I can't add much to this insurance discussion but try to get answers in writing...  Insurers must be shitting themselves with the claims/cancellations coming...

I believe they're relying on the 'Act of God' excuse... (or maybe that's the UK?)

Some insurers won't honour pubs' business interruption cover (RTE News)

The Licensed Vintners Association and the Vintners Federation of Ireland have sharply criticised insurers who are refusing to honour "Business Interruption" cover for pubs who have been forced to close due to Covid-19.

Allianz and FBD, two of the largest providers of business interruption cover to pubs, have confirmed to the LVA and VFI that they will not be providing this cover.

But this also means tou cannot use your car for social pleasure either surely ?

I'm gonna go as a named driver on the missus policy and just drive her private, non taxi, ordinary car to bring the dog up the mountains so she can shit in peace.
Is she a bit embarressed to shit in public ?

it is good that when you think about it, it didnt last long in China, its not like this is going on for years or something. I hate seeing people walking around out in the open with gloves, masks on etc I would hate to be afraid like that.

Its alright for you, you're in Mayo !
