Should cabbies currently working and spreading the virus be denied treatment?
We investigate!

A few years ago, we would drive by junkies in case they had the HIV virus.  Now the junkies are avoiding us in case we have D virus

There will be very little treatment if the numbers they say are true.

I'm working, I've got my hand sanitizer, and a fine mist spray bottle with a mixture of 70% isopropyl alcohol and a few drops of tea tree oil for spraying on door handles, seatbelts and around the place where someone sat, plus I have gloves and where possible they sit in the back. And if someone sneezed without covering I'd stop breathing and get out of car and spray the fine mist 70% isopropyl all over. The European epicentre of the virus Italy, all the taxis and buses are still running. They are also running in Spain, France and Germany. Plus I only look at the news one a day to keep your sanity.

@C5: are people taking taxis?  Off the streets/ranks or the apps/FN?

Considering the circumstances:
- Could you insist people sit in the back?  Social distancing 'n all that?
- Could you put a sign up and say card only? Social distancing 'n all that?

Are you busy Bud?
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Many drivers could not survive on 2-300 pw. There is a valid argument that if someone takes a taxi, they are aware of any risks and are responsible for their own health/precautions, face touching/sanitiser/gloves/hand washing etc. Likewise the driver, and as C5 says, up to 3 always in the back with the same precautions applicable.

@watty I've got 2 signs up one on the front passenger window asking people to use the back seat if its two of less, if its more than that one in each corner and so on. The other sign is on the side boot window's each side its an estate, just explaining the cab is sanitized before each fare seatbelts, door handles inside and out etc.
