Freenow control the Taxi industry.They can do what they like and discount what they like.When our own dispatchers were kings they discounted up to 45% and more.So the Multinational Daimler AG are saying the way it now goes.Will they give you 50% off a new Mercedes?.They should be taking the hit and all of it .50% it should be free for medical staff, and Daimler AG should pay as they getting loads of money off the freenow Jockeys.I defiantly think ill be looking at my options after this virus passes .The taxi industry rotten to the core.Will free now call the Covid19 test centres medical 50% off.This is the beginning of the end.

Daimler AG couldn't careless they are in control, and YES it will be 25% or more off after virus passes and commission will rise like in other countries.Remember 2008 ...this a lot worse

When Xpert were launched the prediction was he'd be working for 2,500  self employed drivers.
How did that pan out?

I can see a ot of lads not returning to the industry after this thing settles down,including myself.Either because they're at risk from their health or don't wanna be offering discounts again like ten years ago.

10k a year minimum to keep a taxi on the road whether you get 100% or 50% of the fare.Why would anyone wanna go back to 60/70 hours a week.

The Freenow drivers will do what there told .They are Brainwashed and can't function without it and they know that.I wouldn't dare doing there work as no money in it.The have a fleet of robot drivers give them a sambo and coffee or ice-cream and they work for nothing like kids. Mecenary is right lots of drivers might not return.

I'm convinced its not only free now drivers who act in the way you describe.it seems to me there are a hugh amount of taxi drivers and although in theory they are self employed,they just cannot function without some kind of supervision.maybe it goes back to their days in the PAYE sector they are just like a fish out of water when working dor themselves.I can understand to that extent why some join dispatchers,they need to be told what to do

its quiet disgusting in my opinion ,and a multinational are doing it shame on them.Freenow are taking all the praise from there Bunker in Lower Mount Street,why dont Freenow ask there overlords Daimler Ag to pay 100% of all medical fares as they have buckets of money over €25.00 a share.......

We would like to say thank you for your responses to the survey we sent out last week. 87% of drivers said that they would be interested in giving HSE workers discounted travel to and from Irish hospitals.
