Not quiet yet Horse, down here FN is the only show in town so we are stuck with either them or a dispatcher or work the streets/ranks.
But my loyalties are waning by the day, first there was the voucher issue where I was very unfairly treated and lied too, never getting an apology, then the 15% commission increase and then the 8 cent off per liter discontinued with a big promise that a new offer would be coming soon and not a Dickie bird about that fer months now. And then this DISGUSTING offer this morning which is no more than a PR stunt putting drivers lives at risk while they cocoon themselves.

We would like to say thank you for your responses to the survey we sent out last week. 87% of drivers said that they would be interested in giving HSE workers discounted travel to and from Irish hospitals. With such a positive response we wanted to make this happen.‌

To help keep Ireland’s essential services moving, we’d like to offer healthcare workers an approximate 50% discount on trips to and from work. As part of the initiative, we’re not charging commission so the total discount you would be offering is 35%.‌

So from tomorrow at 10am, drivers will have the option to support medical staff with the introduction of a new fleet type in the app called ‘Medical’ offering a reduced fixed fare of approximately 50%. ‌
‌
These jobs are completely optional and will be clearly marked to show that they are discounted fares open to healthcare professionals only. ‌
‌
The initiative offers medical staff a quicker and comfortable way to travel to and from work at a reduced rate while helping drivers to continue to do jobs and earn money.

The Four Door bonnett and Boot men cant see further that their bubble some lads paying freight plus running Free Now and UBER never asking if any of these things were any good why do I need Three of them .Lads doing 60 hours a week taking 1200 with costs of 600 between freight fuel car insurance maintainance .If they were in a PAYE job the 20 hours overtime would be paid at at least time and a half are in reality working for 8.56 an hour before tax and insurance .Fooling themselves that the more you work the more you earn .I winder if any Ambassadores ever looked at how many jobs they cover for under a tenner in a week .

I just got the cringeworthy FN email sent out to customers,
very little mention that FN are taking No hit at all but just dropping the commission,
and no mention at all that the Taxi driver putting his life at risk is actually the one who suffers financially.

How do I know if my passenger's are medical staff ?

Only healthcare workers are allowed avail of this new fleettype and we are telling our passengers this, however we would ask that you confirm this with proof of their medical ID.

If a trip has been taken without a licence please inform us directly and we will refund you the value of the trip and ban the passenger in question.
