About 8% of caregivers acquire influenza as part of an “ordinary” influenza, but no one dies from it. In COVID-19, some 25% to 30% of caregivers are infected and this is associated with significant mortality. Dozens of doctors and nurses who have cared for COVID-19 patients have died of the same infection.
Time for a rant .This is a MEDICAL problem not a POLITICAL problem but most countries are applying a POLITICAL solution /Approach .For about 5 years China have been warning of a Corona Epidemic .Plenty of papers issued in all the Best medical journals but most Governments ignored it .
China closed down Wuhan America and Europe saw this as Political oppression by a Commy Regime so would never do this in a Free Democracy .
Why in Both the UK and America do Politicians give out the Daily death rate .Trump took on the role believing the USA would have a kill rate lower than China and he could Gloat .
Then you have the statisticians reporting on the % of Kills to infections 2.2% or .22% both could mean a million dead people the number of dead is the only thing that really counts .
Then the Biggie America and Britain and Ireland spend more of their GDP on medical cover ,Hospitals, medicines .Yet none of them after spending billions per year for years had an ample supply of paper face masks or plastic aprons or even sanitizer .You have been told Soapy water is best for hand cleaning and we dont need facemasks .REALLY or is it just the Governments dont want to admit they have failed to provide .
We also seem to have embraced Eugenics Why do they report the average age of people who die are older people more worthless than the rest of us .They also say underlying condition .That to me is bolloxology .Most people only attend a doctor when the symptoms get serious not at the first twinge so most if not all of us are suffering from some sort of existing conditions ,A good example is you go to the doc with a sore Knee he takes your Blood Pressure and diagnoses hypertension if your knee wasent sore you wouldnt of found out about your blood pressure .
I still think this was built in a lab intentionally or unintentionally got free .But Political dogma ,We wont lock our people down against lets follow Communist China a Population of 1.6 billion with fewer deaths in the entire epidemic than America will see some day next week.Has showed who was correct
Looking at how many people have died from it at the moment its not a lot compared with how many people die world wide of Malaria but Malaria usually dosent kill White Europeans,Americans or Australasians .I really dont know how virulent this is .
