I see on the Freenow driver app they've abolished the Priority setup. Not because drivers asked for it but because all they have left is discounts and so many drivers have decided not to work.

They did say it will be back as soon as they want to fuk us over again.Fair play to them.

You have the same oppeetunity to put ALL dispatchers out of business,and maybe the realization that they were never needed in the first place will dawn on drivers

Simply ask the Beggarmasters to set an example by work ing at least one shift of 12 hours solely for the medical profession.

That will never happen as Breadvans & Prius drivers are institutionalised and they are FREENOWS Robot Division.Origanaly built by Bill,Dave,Dermot,Now the lot is run by the Fatherland in Munich Daimler AG, and the tech geeks .Freenow drivers are trained and brainwashed as if there part of a Military organisation,Hence the Medals,Sambos,Fish&Chips,Icecream Vans,Tea and coffee.Being honest its better the freenow lads continue that mickey mouse work as what will they do come looking at work I do, or you do?.So in a way Freenow helps the street taxis they mop up all the rubbish

If they reintroduce ongoing discounts they can rest assured that some of the men will get very annoyed and some of the immigrants might even protest outside the depot for a couple of hours two Mondays in a row.

Taxi drivers have no balls on any occasion I seen them on strike, it lasted hours rather then weeks. I remember on one occasion we went in with all fund blazing to block the city centre the result was it was cleared within 1 day, and NOTHING achieved

Don't be too quick to dismiss the possibility, CB. That's exactly what happened when they increased freight by 25%... next time they upset a small minority of predominately immigrants they can't say they weren't warned.

Anyone know if the 50% jobs are being taken up quickly, or are they staying on screen for along?

I was watching it yesterday and they were being taken. Over about 20 mins I never noticed them going red.

Like I said already if lads can get €15 per hour gross doing a couple of these jobs they'll keep covering them.

Many of our former hackney drivers and the immigrants from outside of Ireland wouldn't be using a meter back home.Haggling is commonplace.So they won't care about 50% off.

With over 80% of drivers supporting the plan I suspect the former... but that's only speculation on my part.
