Spotters.
« on: April 19, 2020, 10:41:48 pm »
This is just an idea of mine;

I have seen Barry Hearn set up the 'At Home' darts matches and thought surely the Premier league could do something similar.
And I thought of a game we all played as kids called 'Spotters'.

With punters eager to watch any type of Live sport and with social distancing in place then my idea is a simple one.
All that is required is a player with a garden in his own home with a single cameraman/referee/ ball placer all in one.

Maybe a carpenter might be required to build a goalpost in the players garden, hardly a big ask as it takes 3 planks of wood.

Then the single cameraman/referee/ball placer would hang single small 1 foot targets hanging from the crossbar for the player to shoot at and knock off their mounting and all screened Live. I'm sure your getting the jist of my idea by now and the details are for yourselves.

And Barry Hearn went big on the First Live 'At Home' darts match with Phil Taylor and Barney and if this goes ahead so should the Premier league, for me Alan Shearer and David Beckham would be the greatest kick-off and then make it a club thing on whatever scale.

The TV stations should be hammering at the door for any type of Live action and the online gambling sites will be lapping it up and the premier league would be doing the very bored public a service.

didje ever play sardines.
one person hides then everybody else has to go searching for them.
when they're found, that person hides with them as well.
then when the next person finds them, they hide with them as well etc. etc.
the person who fails to find the hiding spot, i.e. the last person, gets fuckin battered by everyone else.

What do Popeye and sardines have in common?

They both come in olive oil
