Thank you 1990.i am a life long supporter, and season ticket holder of Bohemian fc. My uncle (Maxie McCann) was part of the shamrock rovers ledgends. He played for rovers in the 1950s/60s.one funny story I can tell you about him was, in 1957 rovers drew Manchester United  the Busby babes in the European cup. My uncle scored in old Trafford, and that was the first European goal scored by an Irish club in Europe. But Matt Busby was so impressed with this dashing winger, that he came over to Dublin to try and sign my uncle for United . We lived in the tennements so how he even got an answer at the door is a mystery. Anyway when Busby arrived , he wanted to talk to my granny about if she would consider letting him travel over to Manchester to sign,. My granny, being an Offaly woman hadn't a fukin what this Scotsman was saying , and duly ran him from the door

I don't think it was about money in those days my uncle was telling me Ireland were playing west Germany in dalymount years ago west Germany had just won the world cup., So this was a great honour to be picked to play against them. Anyway he, and the rest of his team were down in the team hotel the Gresham, and the FAI were so poor they had to walk up to dalymount to play the match cause the FAI.  couldn't afford to provide a coach. Ireland actually won 3_ 0 with my uncle Maxie scoriing the third

He does one about his "lovely girly legs" which is hilarious, and the funniest part is the interviewer in stitches listening/talking to him, but it seems to have gone off youtube.
