I was talking to a driver a few weeks ago, and he hated double jobbers more ten anything. He solution was to propose that they have different colour roof signs to show they are part timers. I said to him do you really think the public give a bollox if he's a part timers or not ?

September would be a nice time to go back. The bars will be open, schools and colleges starting. Hopefully the disease will be under control by then.

I'd like the summer off weather permitting, although I've noticed the wife looking at me more than usual. I think she's getting jealous of my leisurely lifestyle. Mixed feelings I guess. On the whole I'm enjoying the time off but my father is in Beaumont... although he hasn't got the virus it does focus the mind, I guess. I'd love to think that we're going to learn how important community is from this whole episode and that we'll move forward with a new sense of values, significantly higher taxation and a strong focus on strengthening and expanding the public sector. However, I'm not optimistic about any of that... one may as well dream while awake as while asleep, I guess.
